Mike started The Roofing Guys with a passion for roofing while working in the construction industry. He had a dream to create a reputable business and turn it into a household name while developing a highly efficient way to do roof replacements. Today The Roofing Guy’s process of roof replacements has set the bar for the industry standard. A master in marketing you can’t go anywhere in Syracuse without seeing and hearing a Roofing Guys ad. Mike started The Roofing Guys from the ground up and has grown it into the largest residential roofing company in the Northeast. A lifelong resident of CNY Mike’s commitment to the company, his employees, and his community is one to be recognized.
Meet our Vice President of The Roofing Guys Inc. Angela Flynn. Angela has been with The Roofing Guys since its inception in 2006. Her daily tasks include invoicing, bookkeeping, customer service, financing, and managing our social media and website. A graduate of SUNY Cortland Angela started as a Spanish teacher before changing career paths, being bilingual has been an important part of helping to communicate with our Spanish speaking customers. She has also been an integral part of creating our annual charitable event called “Roof For A Reason” and you might see her on some commercials and even Bridge Street promoting that giveaway.
Meet our Operations Manager at The Roofing Guys, Tim Spillett. Tim is a new addition to The Roofing Guys team, and is excited to be a part of CNY's first choice roofing company. His daily tasks include assuring each job site has all material and personnel to get your roof done quickly and efficiently, invoicing, customer service, and accounting.
A graduate of Le Moyne College where he was a part of the 2007 National Championship lacrosse team, Tim previously worked in the Apparel and Sports Equipment industry for 10 years. Tim is ready to make sure you have the best possible experience getting your new roof!
Gary Spillett is a customer sales estimator with The Roofing Guys. After spending almost 40 years in B2B sales in the Upstate CNY market with over $30 million in sales, Gary joined The Roofing Guys in 2017. He is excited to be part of a team that strives to provide quality roofing services to local homeowners. Gary grew up in Camillus, attended West Genesee High School and continues to reside there. He is an avid golfer and enjoys boating on Skaneateles Lake and Lake Ontario.
Hallie Gaffney is the secretary of The Roofing Guys, joining the company in 2018. She is the voice behind the phone and the first person to greet you at the office. Hallie spends her days working in customer service and her nights attending graduate school. On her down time, she loves spending time on Lake Ontario with her family and fellow beach lounger, Shelby the dog. Her favorite part about working for The Roofing Guys is the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and listening to the gratitude of our clients.
Shane Martin is an estimator with The Roofing Guys. Shane has been in the estimating department since 2019 and has worked with and for The Roofing Guys for several years prior. His construction background of 20+ years and his continued practice as a structural engineer provides reliable knowledge and insight for your roofing needs. Shane enjoys spending his free time with family and friends either in the woods or on the lake. The Roofing Guys team continues to give him satisfaction as we continue to provide our community with competitive pricing and great products!
Casey has been with The Roofing Guys since 2012 providing homeowners with excellent customer service, a lot of experience, and knowledge. Casey grew up in construction always helping a hand on his family’s construction sites. We know when we have a customer that has a unique roof that Casey will always provide a thorough estimate paying special attention to detail. Casey enjoys spending time with family, friends, and my dogs and is an avid Hockey fan... Vegas Golden Knights!! Casey’s favorite part of working for The Roofing Guys is being able to meet new people every day and developing friendships along the way.
Meet Patrick Commane, a native of Baldwinsville, Patrick grew up learning home building from his father. After receiving his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps in 2013 he returned to New York to attend Cornell University and earned his Bachelors degree. Patrick has been a great addition to our estimation team and everyone that meets him raves how thorough, professional, and knowledgeable he is.
